  • First, you need to make sure that your Oculus Quest 2 VR headset is paired or connected to the Oculus Quest app on your iPhone or iPad. You can follow the steps provided above regarding pairing.
  • Next, you need to confirm that your Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and your iPhone or iPad are hooked to the same internet or WiFi network.
  • Now, wear or put on your Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and find the Sharing option using the controllers or the Trigger. You will find it in the “Utilities” bar (mostly the second option)
  • Select the Sharing Menu and you will be presented with a list of available sharing or casting methods
  • Select the cast option from the list of methods
  • When you select the cast option, you will be again presented with a list but this time with a list of the available device as destinations for casting.

  • Apple TV with the latest firmware and AirPlay 2 enabled
  • A good internet or WiFi connection
  • iPhone or iPad
  • Oculus Quest 2 VR headset with updated Oculus Software

Here are the steps to follow to connect and stream your Oculus Quest 2 VR headset to your Apple TV –

  • First, you need to make sure that you are signed in on your Apple TV and iPhone with the same Apple ID
  • Now, you need to open the “Settings” option on your Apple TV and find the “AirPlay” option
  • When you find it select the “AirPlay” option and then choose the “Room” option
  • You need to choose the room in your house where your Apple TV is installed
  • Now, you can follow the instructions on the screen to complete the remaining process.

  • First, connect your Macbook (or iMac) to the same WiFi network as your Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and make sure that the WiFi connection is fast and stable
  • Now, make sure you have a compatible browser installed for streaming on your MacBook or iMac. If not, download and install either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your MacBook or iMac.
  • Now, go to the Oculus Website on the compatible browser that you just downloaded and visit the official webpage of the Oculus Quest
  • When prompted, log in with your Oculus or Facebook account credentials or login ID.
  • Once logged in, you will land on the homepage of your Oculus account
  • Find the Casting Receiving option and click on it
