Applying for Bank of America’s credit card? You must meet some requirements.
You must be at least 18 years old and be a citizen of the United States. In addition to that, your employment history and credit report are necessary for the Bank to evaluate your application.

Applying for a credit card

Once accepted, you have to wait for the next 7-10 days before your card arrives.

- Credit card number.
- Card Identification number. (usually written on the front or back of your card)
- Personal details including name, date of birth, social security number, and zip code.
- Bank account number if you have one.

If you do not have an account, you can sign up with the last 6 digits of your card and social security number. Once you receive your Online ID and Passcode, you will be able to log in and activate your card.

Activating via the mobile application
To activate your Bank of America’s credit card via mobile application follow the below steps one by one.
- Download the Bank of America app on your android phone or iPhone.
- Login with your account credentials.
- Go to Account settings and find your new card.
- Click on Activate and follow the prompts.
Once your card is activated, which will take a few minutes, you can start shopping right away.
What to do if I lose my credit card?
In case your credit card went missing or got stolen, immediately inform the Bank by logging into the account and disabling the card or calling them and informing them how you lost your card. You will be asked for your card number and your card will be frozen. You can now apply for a new card which you have to activate again.
